Our Freshly Made Apple Fritters

Dating back to the early 1300s, fritters are now a favourite of fairs and festivals. The name fritter describes food that is battered and fried. Technically, the fish in fish and chips is a fritter; but you won’t be interested in fish and chips once you’ve tried one of our delicious apple fritters.

We start with locally grown apples that are peeled and sliced the day they are going to be used. We then dip the slices into our own batter recipe and fry them to perfection. A quick sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar and you have a delicious snack to accompany that perfect cup of coffee.

Why would anyone settle for a plain doughnut that was cooked whenever, when you can have one of our freshly prepared fritters?  Try one the next time you're in - you'll be glad you did.
